"Good overall physical condition. Powers on. It displayes track one when powered on-I cannot get it to move to a different track, however, that may be entirely user error as I have no idea how it works.... In a moronic moment, I knocked off a key while cleaning (see pic)-The key is included. A steady hand and some super glue can likely remedy it."
I'd be careful attempting to glue it. I'd likely just rest it back in there.

To reduce spam, comments for posts older than one week are not displayed until approved, usually same day. Do not insult people. For items for sale, do not ask if it is still available. Check the auction link and search for the item. Auctions are from various sellers and expire over time. Posts remain for the pics and historical purposes. This site is meant to be a daily snapshot of some of what was out there in the world of synths.

The symptoms described are probably caused by the firmware chip being blown. The boot sequence fails during tuning of oscillator 3. I've owned a MAX and the firmware chip failed identically three times. MAX is very susceptible to static electricity blowing the firmware.
