1984 Sequential Circuits Max 610 Analog Synthesizer SN 01905 w/ Original MIDIGUIDE Manual

"Good overall physical condition. Powers on. It displayes track one when powered on-I cannot get it to move to a different track, however, that may be entirely user error as I have no idea how it works.... In a moronic moment, I knocked off a key while cleaning (see pic)-The key is included. A steady hand and some super glue can likely remedy it."

I'd be careful attempting to glue it. I'd likely just rest it back in there.

  1. The symptoms described are probably caused by the firmware chip being blown. The boot sequence fails during tuning of oscillator 3. I've owned a MAX and the firmware chip failed identically three times. MAX is very susceptible to static electricity blowing the firmware.
