Korg Wavestate Jam - 4 arpeggiators

Waveformer

"A jam with a custom patch on the Wavestate - 4 arpeggiators, one for each layer, fading in and out, with some sound tweaking throughout the jam.

My music on Bandcamp: http://waveformer42.bandcamp.com/

The Wavestate patch ("performance") consists of 4 layers:
- A: Arpeggiator #1 - Sample sequence of 15 different bell and synth sounds
- B: Arpeggiator #2 - Vocalscape sample
- C: Arpeggiator #3 - 16 step timing sequence with many rests. Shape sequence with some racketing.
- D: Arpeggiator #4 - 16 step sample sequence with misc percussive sounds. Timing lane with some rests with less than 100% probability.

The arpeggiators use different patterns, different speeds, and different sort settings, so the melodies created by the arpeggiators are different for each layer. Also, I have some rests in the timing lane for some of the layers, and have the filter LFO modulate filter cutoff frequency, so some notes are more muted than others. I usually add some randomness to the panning (using the LFO with a random waveform), and often let the amp envelope modulate filter envelope cutoff, so some notes are more plucky than others. All to create constant variation.

I have mapped the four top global mod knobs to wavesample octave (that was a lot of button pushing to program), and the four bottom global mod knobs to layer amp volume, so I can use these to fade each layer in and out.

The patch is called "WF Berlin Arp" and can be downloaded from files section of the "Korg Wavestate Q/A Sharing" facebook group.

The audio is recorded to SD card on a Zoom R16 and normalized in Audacity. Video is recorded on iPhoneX. Audio and video is synchronized in DaVinci Resolve 15."
