Stylophone Gen X-1 : A true small and fun synthesizer

SynthedMind

"The new stylophone Gen X-1 is like the old and original, but with lots of new and great features.
The original sound can also be achieved by setting all controls to OFF position.
But when you start rotating or switching these, a new sonic world opens !
It's a handy small and affordable little synthesizer and has following features :
- Attack - Decay controls : these set the rise and fall of the pitch or filter cutoff.
- LFO : this is a low frequency oscillator to modulate the pitch of the tone. You can select between square or triangle. The speed and modulation depth can be set.
- Delay effect : this is an effect to "echo" the sound output. You can control delay time, repeat time and balance between dry or effect.
- Low pass filter with cutoff and resonance.
- Pulse width modulation : this creates more harmonics to the sound.
- 1-Octave and 2-Octave sub oscillators. These add depth and lower sounding notes.
These can be freely mixed with the Pulse width modulation.

- A very good build in amplifier and speaker which produce deep and warm sounds.
- It's handy and very compact. The stylus is a new way of playing music. You can slide over the notes.
- A ribbon controller : this can also be used for adding extra notes when playing with the stylus.

By tweaking the knobs many normal or strange sounds can be achieved, just like a real synthesizer.
I found a warm and synthed sound and demonstrate it in this video.
I also demonstrate the pulse width modulation and sub oscillators."
