"The TheoryBoard is a music theory MIDI controller. It was invented for the purpose of allowing easier access to the complex world of music theory. When the user loads a scale they have access to every chord and every note within that scale (& hot keys for key changes + 7 modes). Chords (harmony) and notes (melody) are linked together via color allowing a visual reference while playing. The control panel allows chords to be manipulated in every possible way (octave/stack/spread/voicings/inversions, over 1.9 billion chord combinations). It's a new type of musical instrument as well as a production/composition tool."
