"Serial number: 39! Very early example, with the 'Pull Caliblation' spelling error on the front panel, and Reed & Wind presets. Very rare model. The exact synth (early model) used by Jean Michel Jarre for Equinoxe V, VIII. Used by James Murphy in many songs in 'This is Happening', the 2010 album by LCD Soundsystem. 3 x VCO's PER voice, individually tuneable. Beautiful sounding onboard Phase Shifter, which does not use BBD's like nearly every other stringer, but instead utilises the 3x VCOs for a truly otherworldly effect.
Full (48 voice) polyphony.
Attack & Release envelope.
Bass / Treble filtering.
This synth was working fine up until a few days ago, when it has now developed audio distortion, also it seems that some of the notes are playing incorrectly. It will need a service. Of note, the red LED pilot lamp above the power button is not working.
Currently:
All keys sound, all sounds change as they should to the 8x presets.
The Bass / Treble controls work as they should.
Volume knob works fine.
Headphone jack working, volume knob for headphone jack working fine.
Attack, and Sustain, both working fine.
Oscillator A, and B, individual tuning seems to be working ok for all keys except those notes where they are sounding incorrect.
Master oscillator pitch knob working fine.
All outputs working fine."
