"Newly built Shruthi synth as originally designed by Mutable Instruments. Only used for testing.
The design is a hybrid consisting of a digital oscillator board and an analogue filter/VCA board (there is a selection of filters to choose from). This one is the "Yellow Magic" design consisting of a MS-20 type 2-pole low pass filter and a crunchy lo-fi delay based around a PT2399. The filter is capable of some excellent run-away effects!
There is no enclosure supplied but cases can be found on ebay.... or laser-cut yourself one from the open-source files. Knobs and the square push button caps are included.
The unit runs nicely on a 9v DC power supply which is not included!
Display is a nice red on black.
