BOOMSTAR SE80 SKETCH 06

"Fun sketch with the Studio Electronics Boomstar SE80, a mono synth with filters inspired by the iconic Yamaha CS-80. I love this synth. It's truly magical and unpredictable in ways at times with essentially an endless palette of analog tone in front of you.. but it is also just so easy to dial in sounds with the plethora of knobs and switches packed in. And I LOVE the formant sounds you can coax out of it.. My only mono now, no regrets.. The interface feels very natural and inviting. I have way too many photos of patches on my phone that I still need to take the time to convert into a PDF book with the proper patch sheet file from SE. Anyway - SE80 recorded into Logic. Some (software) FX and processing applied etc etc etc. All sounds SE80 except for the backing choir I felt compelled to add and keep in (8DIO Requiem ). Thanks for listening!
