MKDVB - This Is Love

I recently bought an OG Moog MiniMoog Model D that's in dire need of servicing and repair. The synth tech says it needs all the op amps replaced, rebuilt power supply, etc but otherwise in pretty good shape. The oscillator pitch is unstable, especially on OSC 3, so it's always randomly gliding and glitching when I play it. It's going into the shop soon but I decided to make a track with it now anyway.

The Moog is on bass/rhythm track duties because it was too unreliable to play more lead sounds. You'll hear the pitch gliding randomly as the track goes on. Because the Moog was so glitchy, I picked a granular-type piano patch on the Prophet X as well as strings on it during the bridges. I'm also sending my sax through Mutable Instruments Beads to add some improvised duet action.

Thanks for tuning in! --davy"
