"This is a Vintage 1960's Gibson Maestro Rhythm N Sound G-1 Synth/Effects Unit w/ Original Case! The pictures are of the actual item for sale.

In 1968, the Gibson/Maestro Rhythm N Sound arrived on the scene to challenge and perplex guitarists with its way-way-out “sounds” and absurd features. It has the ability to make both percussion and bass (octave under) and organ (fuzz )type sounds, using the guitar as a controller/trigger. In addition you can get 3 types of filters on the guitar tone and either use them together or separate from the original guitar signal. The Echo preset is really a hard-knee tremolo. The Distortion is not unlike the coveted Gibson/Maestro Fuzz, which has a sort of grinding fuzz sound with no real fidelity. The String Bass appears to be an octaver."
