Cross-rhythmic potential with patchblocks
video upload by dænkrø_ ElectriXity_
"Hi everyone,
unfortunately, I did not have much spare time in the last year, so all of my ElectriXity projects had to wait in a line. Eventually, I have been able to finish this one, which is the first of a series of rhythmically orientated soundscapes made with patchblocks. Most of them derived from a patch which is based on prime numbers to avoid too much regularity in the rhythmic patterns. This is an edit made of two live jam takes, so please don't expect video and audio to be in sync at any given second ;-)
Wish you all the best for 2021 and stay healthy!!
Enjoy"
Cross-rhythmic potential part 2 (with Korg Volca Beats and Patchblocks)
"I hereby declare against all common opinions that I love my Korg Volca Beats. I am not ashamed to admit it and so I want to express my gratitude and pay tribute to the many happy hours I have spent playing around and listening to my beloved drum machine. And yes, I also and especially adore the sound of its snare. Change my mind!"
