It is a monophonic synth with two oscillators. The sound is superb and the low pass and high pass filters sound very good.
The sounds are organized in presets that can be activated with the push buttons and adjusted with a potentiometer.
These presets are arranged in two sound sections (two oscillators): "SYNTHE", and "INSTRUMENT", this last section being dedicated to the imitation of existing instruments: high wood, flute, string, bassoon, etc. These two sections can be mixed via a rotary control on the left of the keyboard, but you can also mix the presets of the same section between them (note: mono output or twice mono to have each oscillator separately). This system of presets is very useful on stage but also for creating sounds: you have very quickly access to a multitude of sound combinations and you quickly find good combinations to your taste. The possibilities for creating lead synth sounds as well as electro bass are endless. The grain is there and the different presets sound warm.
An "EFFECTS" section allows you to adjust the octave (+ 1 / -1), the portamento, the after-touch (vibrato, pitch towards low or pitch towards high), vibrato (intensity, speed, delay ), multiple or single trigger (interesting to re-trigger or not the envelope), play in quarter tones, tune (or out of tune) the oscillos between them.
But the most important and the most original is the presence of the two joysticks acting on the filter and the modulations, allowing effects of an exceptional expressiveness!
The first joystick allows simultaneous control of the pitch (bass-treble), vibrato and a random dose on the oscillator frequency, and the other allows to control the high-pass and low-pass filters simultaneously. You can play for hours with these joysticks on just 3 notes.
It is equipped with a headphone output, two line outputs (instrument and synth separated or mixed if you only connect to a single output), control voltage inputs and outputs (VCF, VCO FM in, Keyboard trigger out, CV out, Eg Trigger in, VCO CV in). With a MIDI to CV converter, we can therefore play with MIDI via a sequencer and control some of its functions.
There are also behind rubber covers, 14 tiny rotary potentiometers that can be operated with a thin flat screwdriver. They allow you to adjust the output currents of the CV gate, Trig ... and also to adjust in particular the amplitude of the pitch.
Finally, the keyboard is very pleasant to play."
