"Originally bought new in a musical instrument shop in Turin in 1981 (one of the few authorised ARP dealer at that time...) and barely used in my smoking-free studio then put away in his flight case for a very long time, now I would like to find a new owner / collector who will be able to give it the right value and care he deserves.

The keyboard is 100% original except for very few replaced components described below. Really outstanding for a Quadra! It will not be easy to find one in such original state as they are very delicate and it is easy to find yourself in a dead end when you repair one...

This keyboard is in excellent condition, with some expected signs of ageing, including some scratches and nicks. The membrane panel is still the original one and in excellent aesthetic condition. There is no rust on the chassis. All the distinctive colourful lettering are looking perfect. The main panel have some very minor spots here and there well shown in the pictures n. 2-3-4 attached to this listing. In the upper right corner of the front panel there is a scratch (VCA area of the LEAD section; see photo n. 22-23). There is a scratch on the side panel of the touch sensor/sequencer area (photo n. 24). The letter "A" of ARP QUADRA on the back has a scratch (photo n.19). The wood side panel on the right has some scuffs in the centre and on the back (photo n. 8-9-10). The wood side panel on the left has some nicks on the upper back and in the middle (photo n. 11-12) and a little piece of wood (1 cm) in the front is slightly damaged (photo n.13). Few scratches/nicks on the bottom of both wood side panels. There is a sticker of the original retailer in the portamento area. Keys are brilliant white (no yellowing on them), none are loose or wobbly. No battery leakage damage. Always stored in its flight case in a temperature controlled room.

This unit has been thoroughly tested. It is 100% fully functional. All faders do their job without noise, and all LEDs work perfectly. All keys play accurately. All voices, buttons, keys, sliders, switches, inputs and outputs work 100%. The original factory presets are still there. The aftertouch has been replaced and work flawlessly. The original sustain pedal work as it should. Please see the demo-video attached to this listing to check everything in the description.

Sliders Deeply Cleaning - All the original sliders have been removed, cleaned and lubricated.
New Aftertouch - The aftertouch sensor has been replaced.
New Flip-Flop - The Flip-Flop on Elec Bass 8' and Trill has been replaced.
New Capacitors - Capacitors has been replaced were applicable.
New Batteries - Original alkaline batteries has been replaced and factory presets recharged.
Calibration- The unit has been fully calibrated to factory specifications following the service manual.

NOTES:

It's an European standard model 220V. A step-up transformer will be required for use on 110/120v supplies (not provided with this sale).
Due to the rarity of this synth, a photographic census of every detail of the keyboard was made. Both external and internal. To be clearer: each IC, each spring, each weld and so on, has been checked, reviewed and photographed both for personal and future insurance purposes.
