Complex oscillator comparison - Sputnik vs. Verbos
video upload by John Schussler
"These two complex oscillators are almost identical in functionality
because they're both modeled after the Buchla 259 complex oscillator. (I'm assuming. Their marketing info doesn't call out the 259 explicitly.)
As a result I figured it'd be an interesting head-to-head comparison to see how their sounds differed, given the very similar architectures.
I'm not going to try every combination of controls, just going to get a general idea of how each sounds with the same basic settings. Not a lot of talking, either, since the modules are fairly straightforward.
Sequence: Stochastic IG. Envelope: Zadar

10:57 Verbos sequence"
