"You need to have that Aha moment and then it'll be a breeze. Essentially, you're setting your oscillator up a fifth (7 semi-tones) and that's where your oscillator will always return to. From there, you can utilize your Mod Envelope to push it up exactly 1 octave! That way when you let go of the keyboard it falls from the musical octave, down to another musical note the fifth. Hope that makes sense! I love exploring synthesis and especially exploring OB-X8 Sounds now that i've had it. Sound design on the OB-X8 is straightforward but always in a sweet spot."
