"REON Muton セミモジュラーシンセサイザーのデモ演奏です。新開発のFAMエンジンの特徴である偶発性と、アナログ音源の強力なシンクサウンドを組み合わせたアンビエント系のパフォーマンスです。
Demonstration performance of REON Muton semi-modular synthesizer. This is an ambient performance that combines the randomness of the newly developed FAM engine with the powerful sync sound of analog sound sources.

-Features-

Muton is a completely new sublimated semi-modular synthesizer equipped with a driftbox-like sound source. It is the second synthesizer in the Fusion series after Cistron. The two models are very compatible and can be freely connected to other REON products such as driftbox and Libertas, so it can be a core synthesizer of REON products. This machine is equipped with a completely new REON original Flexible Advanced Multiplier (FAM) engine. By freely controlling the multiplier, you can evolve the REON sound into something new.

The VCO has 3 oscillators capable of powerful modulation like driftbox. Oscillator sync is also possible, and a unique random signal generator is also installed, making it possible to create an extremely wide range of sounds.

The VCF, envelope generator, and delay that process the oscillator sound are optimized to enhance Muton's sound, and you can choose which oscillator to assign to each.

The FAM engine functions as a sound source controller, and is equipped with 3 completely REON original GATE generators and 3 LFO generators. The GATE generator can be synchronized with the tempo controlled by the main unit or an external input, and can be played at any speed and length, at regular intervals, or irregularly (randomly). The LFO generator can also be synchronized in the same way to generate waveforms at any speed, allowing you to freely edit levels and waveforms, as well as sample and hold using the GATE signal. By freely assigning functions to the six buttons on the front, you can change the sound in real time, such as by repeatedly hitting the gate or holding the LFO, allowing you to achieve highly improvisational performances.

Controllers and sound sources can be freely patched with simple button operations. A wide range of sounds can be created with simple operations using versatile patching. Controller section settings and patching settings can be saved in up to six memories, and can be read freely during performance.

In addition to the master audio output on the back, there are individual audio output terminals for each VCO. In addition, it has a MIDI terminal and a USB terminal, so you can play in sync with various devices.
