! 1984 Synth demonstration at Newark High School
video upload by Thomas Barnes
"This is a performer demonstrating the synthesizer at a Newark High School student assembly in 1984."
I got a kick out of this one. I'll admit I was a little surprised to find out what the lead synth was. Synths listed further below not to give it away.
KORG Poly-800
KORG Polysix
KORG KPR-77
Roland SVC-350

Yes, that's Don Muro. He was a columnist for Keyboard Magazine and an artist sponsored by Korg. I saw one of his Korg demos around the same time and it was very similar to this. It was great live.
ReplyDeleteYou left out the Roland tag for the SVC-350
