"An exploration of stacked patches with the Dave Smith Instruments Prophet '08 (or REV 2). I've often found bi-timbral patches cheesy, uninspiring, or just not useful. I sought to create this bank to show how powerful and beautiful patch stacking can be. It needs to be approached with care - not just slapping two sounds together, but carefully tailoring each sound to complement each other and blend into a single unit that is greater than the sum of it's parts. Nuance is key.
30 carefully designed bi-timbral patches for instant inspiration. Recorded completely dry with no external effects or processing. Note: these patches will also work with the Dave Smith Instruments / Sequential Rev-2.
A fantastic synthesizer which is a widely-loved classic for a reason.
