"This is an incredible opportunity to own a piece of history (serial number 27!). This is a completely original Emulator II (with the factory ordered 2nd disk drive), just went through the shop, and everything works. I thought about reaching out to a synth museum, but thought of how cool it would be to offer it up to fellow musicians.
The Emulator II speaks for itself and has an incredible history. It was of course, the famous model in the movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and was used by countless musicians through the years including Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys and Tears for Fears (in fact, fun fact, the same model (6028) Emulator II that Tears for Fears owned was sold at auction a few years ago… BUT… it was serial number 300)! This one is serial number 27, and rolled out of the factory way before many famous artists could even get their hands on one. This one even has the original dust cover!"
