"Dreadbox sought to channel Olympic levels of low-end thunder with this heavy-duty analog bass synthesizer. Living up to its namesake, Hades is brimming with distinctive, dark sonics, faithfully reproducing the specs of its predecessor (with a few quality-of-life improvements). With a single VCO, Hades is outfitted with a suite of sonic sculpting tools and 11 CV patch points to be easily integrated into almost any system. Moreover, the synth can be easily removed from its housing to be placed directly into a Eurorack configuration, if you’ve got the 42HP to spare. Armed with two sub-octaves, PWM-accompanied waveforms, and a characteristic distortion, Sweetwater’s sound hounds concur: Hades is the perfect bass synth to kick your low end into high gear."
