Modal ARGON8 Kickstart #2: Oscillators

"In our KICKSTART series on the ARGON8 from Modal Electronics, professional musician, sound designer and synth expert Maik Schott demonstrates the numerous functions and possibilities of the wavetable synthesiser of a new generation.
In episode 2 of this video series, Maik explains the structure of the ARGON8 with its 8 voices and a total of 32 oscillators. The synth's more than 180 wavetables can not only be run through seamlessly, but can also be put through the proverbial 'wringer' in no time at all through the use of numerous oscillator and wavetable modifiers.
In addition to classic oscillator modifiers such as pulse width modulation, ring modulation and hard sync, the ARGON8 also features numerous more complex representatives at wavetable level. How these fast interventions affect the sound character of the individual waveforms is demonstrated here by Maik with some impressive sound examples."
