"Rare Roland Sh3, not to be confused with Sh3 a.

This version is rumored to have less then 30 units in circulation, which is why I hesitate to let it go.

Fantastic rival to my SH5, more raw and organic sounding then the Roland synthesizers that came afterwards.

The VCS3 diode filter really shines through on this instrument.

From my understanding this instrument has had a service history according to the previous owner.

The instruments plays and functions perfectly so I believe the previous owner about it’s service record considering this instrument is from 1974."

    If only 30 remains in circulation (we know indeed that a very small number were produced since it quickly got replaced by the SH3A not even a year later, but 30 remaining seems low), I don’t know why no collector or Roland-lover pounced on this unit the moment it was posted for sale…
