"This listing is for the Pollard Syndrum 178.
A rare and amazing sounding drum synth.
The unit sounds great. It does have a couple of minor issues. Please make sure to read the description below so you know exactly what to expect as it is being sold AS IS.

The toggle switch for the pedal on off is broken/loose. I don’t own the accessory pedal so this never really bothered me.
The sliders are missing the little slider caps.
The tracking of the sliders is ok but it’s not perfect and has a couple of skips as expected from a vintage unit. If you want to improve the tracking, you’ll have to disassemble the sliders and clean them thoroughly from the inside.

Cosmetically, there are all kinds of wear signs. The left wooden panel has splits that have been repaired (see photo). There are some areas where the blue paint came off, some scratches, marks etc.
Please refer to photos for condition.

Also included is the original 22VDC power adapter.

The synth can be triggered either by a drum pad (not included) or a sequencer."

  1. I think this is in the liner notes of Pigface-High and Low
