"Tauntek upgrade is installed. It adds a lot of functionality including MIDI cc control, MIDI sysex, and more, listed below. If you ever want to install another upgrade you can easily remove this one as it did not require cutting any traces. You can also place a jumper (included) on the upgrade board to run the original Jupiter 6 firmware if you ever need to for diagnostic purposes.

The range of LFO-2 has been extended with a hardware mod. The range was originally pretty limited, the manual states that it was 1hz to 10hz, it is now approximately 0.14hz to very fast.

A new memory battery has been installed with a socket.

The insides are clean with no liquid damage, no bulging or leaking caps.

As preventative maintenance, The H/M/L switch on the back was removed and the switch is hardwired to the H position (the H/M/L circuit only affects the 1/4" output, not the XLR output). This switch is a common point of failure in the Jupiter 6 and other Roland synths that use it, and all audio runs through it. People usually keep it in H position because it has the best signal to noise ratio. This mod improves reliability of the synth.

The pitch bend has a range of a little over 1 octave and 1 semitone when the VCO slider on the bender board is at its max setting 10 (and more range if the "wide" switch is engaged). You can set it to exactly one octave by setting the VCO slider on the bender board to about 8.5.

There is a dull spot on the surface of the lowest D key (see pic), it's only visible in certain light. I tried to photograph it best I could. There are some spots of discoloration on the white Bank/Preset buttons, see pics."
