"Böhm Dynamic 12/24 FM Rack Synthesizer. Made in Germany 1985
In the old times this "Expander" was placed on top of a classical Organ from the Böhm Manufacture to add some more "modern" sounds...
But this rack, nevertheless his nondescript looks, is a real charming FM allrounder:

Böhm used original Yamaha Sound ICs, but put Stickers on it to conceal the descriptions . I don't know why, but the Böhm 12/24 sounds a lot more softer than the comparable 80ies 4OP FM synths like Yamaha DX21, 27, 100.

Though the attraction of this synth are the different preset sounds, some classic, some cheesy, some weird or beautiful - the Böhm Dynamic is a full programmable Synthesizer. It follows key kombinations on the front panel. The ENGLISH MANUAL IS ALSO AVAILABLE.
The machine doesn't only have FM chips but also 3 BBD chips (TDA1022) wich are responsible for the string sounds (here „Ensemble“ )."
