I never "lusted after" a Minimoog. I thought it was rather severe. The EMS Synthi that had been out for a year before the Minimoog, has a much broader palette, better controls, and was available at the time for the silly price of $300. I wish I had gotten one then but I was only a kid so what did I know?
ReplyDeleteI should say ₤300. That was more likely the original price.
