"Minimoog voyager 10th anniversary gold edition. This Moog is an enigma…please read on to uncover the details. Here’s what I know. What it is: The electronics are the 10th anniversary gold plated edition. Everything about it indicates that is the case. It has the lighted blue logo on the back and all the earmarkings of the gold plated edition released in 2012. What I don’t know: Why is it in a white ash case? Never seen another like it. Usually, the synth came in a dark case with an anniversary plaque. I have tried to obtain information from Moog but didn’t get far. The synth has a Moog serial number plate on the case however Moog was unable to provide any additional information. The unit functions beautifully and it’s super clean. Comes with custom heavy duty cover. I do not have any paperwork (manual etc.) nor do I have the original box.Includes an AC cord."

Update via Dave in the comments:

Hi there, a year late but maybe not a dollar short. A friend of a friend just messaged me about this synth yesterday, asking if I knew anything about it. I reached out to one of my Moog Music contacts, and got this response: "This was a one-off unit custom built from extra parts that was purchased by Wyclef Jean in 2015, being offered to him as a one-of-a-kind instrument." So there you go, it was a sort of frankenstein unit from spare parts (serial number 3823). Notable differences are obviously the white ash cabinet instead of black lacquer, no numbered plate over the keybed, blue backlit mod wheels instead of black, and white rocker switches instead of black. I have some more images of it if anyone's interested, including one of Wyclef posing near the unit."
