My laptop has a couple of hundred sound engines, including everything in the AstroLab. It also has about eighteen different operating systems any and all of which can run simultaneously. And it is a lot easier to carry on the train, while running for six hours on battery. AstroLab verges on retrograde technology even as it is being introduced.
