"Your friends at New England Synth Fest are hosting a New England Synth Community Day on Saturday, September 28, 1pm-5pm, at the New Alliance Gallery (438R Somerville Ave., Somerville, Mass.) Lectures, exhibitors, petting zoo, jam rooms, and a DIY workshop.
Bring your headphones to check out synths in the petting zoo.
Join in the music making in the jam rooms (choose the clocked room or the unclocked ambient room).
Lectures about the Fairlight CMI, Berlin-school techniques, a forensic analysis of the Rhythm Wolf, modular strategies, and using the Elektron Octotrak in performance.
