Full score walkthrough using Noise Engineering effects and processing plugins

video upload by Noise Engineering

"Our friend Owen Nathanael ‪@owenathanael‬ walks us through a cue breakdown of his piece, 'Sacrifice,' which he modified slightly for this Noise Engineering plugin demo.

0:00 Intro
0:40 Playthrough
2:57 Using Imitor
8:10 Using Desmodus
11:40 Using Polydactyl
15:05 Using Librae
18:20 Using Ruina
19:52 Wrap

This cue is primarily composed with acoustic instruments in mind but with some audio effects. You can transform some of these sounds to be more synth-like and complement that orchestral texture.

Are you an orchestral composer who is afraid to use synths but still wants your music to sound cool? This video is for you.

The OceanMaker - Rescore by Owen Nathanael

video upload by Owen Nathanael

"So here it is—my last screen-scoring recording session at Berklee. I cannot believe that I will be moving to Los Angeles in less than a month and starting a new phase of life there. I am genuinely grateful for these experiences inside and outside Berklee for the past three years. It shaped who I am right now and exceeded what I think I would be in the next three years when I started my Berklee journey both in life and in my music. So, enjoy one of my last films to be scored by me as a Berklee undergraduate student made possible by these amazing people!
