"This Emulator II+ is fully functional and in excellent condition as it has been only mildly used in a clean home studio. This unit was purchased in 1986 for over $8,000 (Retail was $9,999.99) and was always well maintained. The Emulator II+ model of the Emulator II has an additional 512Kbytes of sample memory bank which enables a separate set of sounds to be loaded from a second disk drive in parallel to the first memory bank. The Emulator II+ has eight channels and can produce up to eight sounds simultaneously. The 5 octave keyboard is velocity sensitive. This comes with a full extensive sound library of over 130 disks, most with multiple sound files on each disk, covering everything from classic analog synthesizers to orchestral instruments, brass, piano, strings, guitars, voices, ethnic instruments, chimes/bells, percussion, drum sets, sound effects, and nature recordings. The original Emulator II+ owner’s manual is also included. Similar machines, in worse condition without the full sample library, list on reverb.com and eBay for over $5,000.00. Finding one of these units that is fully functional with a full set of sounds in an outstanding condition is rare. This is priced to sell and would respectfully request serious inquiries only please. Thanks."
