TIMELESS AND INTUITIVE
Messenger builds on the DNA of the most iconic and prolific Moog monosynths—Minimoog Model D, Voyager, Grandmother, Subsequent 37—and puts a new spin on a familiar format with innovative circuits and timeless analog sound.
A LEGEND REBORN
Messenger features a twist on the legendary Moog ladder filter which, in addition to high-pass and band-pass responses, will toggle between preserving low end when resonance is increased or the traditional low-pass ladder filter response via the RES BASS switch.

"The Moog Messenger is a monophonic analog synthesizer featuring thirty-two full-size, semi-weighted keys, dual oscillators with wavefolding, a morphable sub-oscillator, and Moog's signature ladder filter—this time reimagined with modern versatility. But technical specs only hint at what makes the Messenger sing. From the moment your fingers meet the keys, Messenger offers not just sound but atmosphere, tension, possibility. It feels like a machine built not just to recall Moog's rich legacy but to ignite it anew, folding old-school warmth into the clever design gestures of today's modular-influenced workflows. In Messenger, tradition hums, evolves, and ultimately transforms.
At the heart of its sound is the Moog ladder filter, expanded with high-pass and band-pass modes and the RES BASS switch, which lets you either retain the low-end as resonance climbs or strip it for that classic thinning effect. Two loopable ADSR envelopes and a pair of LFOs provide depth for modulation, whether you're dialing in shimmering leads or trance-inducing rhythmic pulses. Sequences of up to sixty-four steps come alive with parameter recording, probabilistic behavior, and a configurable arpeggiator that veers from locked-in grooves to unpredictable, generative flutters.
Built for both studio integration and stage performance, Messenger includes six CV patch points, USB-C and 5-pin MIDI, external audio input, and pedal support. With 256 preset slots (240 factory-loaded), pitch and mod wheels, glide control, and a solid metal chassis, it offers both immediacy and depth. In every interaction, Messenger invites you to give in to the siren's call and set a course straight from creamy, warm bass to cutting, aggressive leads and everything in between.
