In-Depth Guide to Sonicware Liven Evoke | Part 1 | Overview & Quick Start
video upload by Sonic Cartography
"A big picture overview of the main features of the Sonicware Liven Evoke (table of contents below), as well some tips for quickly getting started with making some interesting sounds and playing music on it, without getting bogged down in the technical details of all the synth's bells and whistles, which will be covered in the next videos in the series. You can get early access to the next video right now (plus bonus goodies, like presets), over at the new Patreon that I am launching in conjunction with this series: / soniccartography .
Next Episodes:
Part 2: Oscillator / Sound Engine Parameters (early access available now on Patreon: / soniccartography )
Part 3: Sound Design (focusing on LFOs).
Part 4: Granular Effects and Reverb
Part 5: Voice Modes & Arpeggiator
Part 6: Chord Mode
Part 7: Sequencer
Part 8(?) - will depend on feedback and questions I receive. Please leave comments! My goal is to help people do whatever I can to be able to use this synth to make their own ambient, cinematic, post-classical, and other kind of electronic (or should I say acoustronic?) music.
The other videos will be shorter than this one. For example, the second one is only 25 minutes. They are focused on specific topics of limited scope, whereas this one is a broad overview. The idea is to start making more bite-size videos than the long-form ones I've tended to make in the past. And the reason for this is to same as the reason for starting the Patreon: to make this channel more sustainable for me and to be able to get back to making videos on a more regular basis.
