"Invented by Joe Pollard and Mark Burton in 1975, the Pollard Syndrum is the world's first commercially manufactured electronic drum synthesizer. It is considered the original synth drum.
The Syndrum was sold in three models: Syndrum Single, Syndrum Twin, and Syndrum Quad.
This Syndrum 178 is the single model.
Syndrum is famous for being used by Yukihiro Takahashi of YMO. The characteristic synth drum sound heard in early YMO can be said to be either Syndrum or ULT-SOUND DS-4. Please enjoy the real sound.
It has been maintained.
* Deteriorated urethane inside the pad has been replaced.
* AC adapter has been replaced with a PSE compliant one (non-genuine).
