Rhythms of Everyday Sounds and Kalimba : Intrusion 2025-09-08 by atnr
video upload by atnr
"A piece created with @teenageengineering EP-133 K.O.II, OP-1 field, kalimba, and @SequentialLLC Prophet-10. Electronica built from rhythms made by sampling percussion and everyday sounds, layered with kalimba and synthesizers.
On the EP-133 K.O.II, I sampled the sound of a children’s drum and other objects around the room to construct the rhythm. Using Punch-in FX, I added further processing with the @ChaseBlissAudio MOOD MKII, applying SLIP, pitch shifting, and micro-loop effects.
The OP-1 field is synced to the EP-133 via USB, looping a 16-bar synth harmony while also performing melodies.
The kalimba is recorded with an NT-4 microphone.
On the Prophet-10, I adjust the filter cutoff while playing. Its output runs through the @BOSSinfoglobal DD-6 for delay and is further processed with @ChaseBlissAudio LOSSY for reverb and lo-fi effects."
