"'ALGOR05' is an interactive composition by PlantsSystem. It was constructed by controlling the sound flow generated in real time using the composition tool 'M' via VNC operation on an iPod Touch.
The compact iPod Touch fits naturally on top of the Prophet-5, functioning as an interface where the boundaries between digital and analog, virtual and physical, intersect. The sound image born at the moment when the performer's control and the autonomy of the algorithm intersect is precise yet somehow evocative of organic breathing."
