OP-1 Field Firmware 1.5 Explained: Multi-Channel USB Audio, Amp Synth & Tape Updates

video upload by Noisegate

"Teenage Engineering have dropped a huge firmware update for the OP-1 Field, and it might be the most important one yet. In this video, we take a hands-on look at firmware 1.5, covering multi-channel USB audio, the new Amp input synth, count-in recording for tape, tape and drum crossfades, and other workflow improvements.

We also show how the OP-1 Field now works as a 10-channel USB audio interface, including routing individual tape tracks into a DAW or a USB-compliant mixer like the TX-6. If you are already using the OP-1 Field, or thinking about adding one to your setup, this update seriously changes what the instrument can do."
