"For the uninitiated, the Lambda is a fully polyphonic keyboard, brass and string synthesizer with two sections: Percussive (Pianos, Harmonics and Clav) and Ensemble (Brass, Organ Chorus and Strings). The sounds from these sections can be used in any combination and output together in mono or stereo.
The chorus phase effect is rich and sounds great when using the Lambda in stereo. The effect can be set to either or both the Percussive and Ensemble sections and its speed can be controlled with the joy stick. A pair of tuning controls allow you establish the range of the chorus phase, from minimal to lush to seasick.
Everything on the Lambda works as it should and sounds excellent. All the jacks work as well. The expression jack uses a control voltage pedal, not a standard expression pedal. I’ve used an Expressive Touché controller with this (set for 0–5 volts as required for the Lambda), and the keyboard responds with volume changes accordingly.
The sliders work fine, with no noise or stiffness. All the controls turn and function as they should."
