4 NOTE POLYPHONIC 1-SHOT PLAYBACK, per track !

New SLICE EDIT MENU featuring AUTOSLICE, MARKER ADD, and MARKER DELETE

Loading WAV 32bit & 24bit and 44.1khz support, including Make Noise Morphagene reels with SLICE markers

LOAD / SAVE both now support directory structures for browsing sub folders

NEW END OF LOOP PULSE OUT MULTIPLIER / DIVIDER
End of loop pulse can be multiplied with up to 16pulses per loop length, or divided down to 1pulse in 16 loop cycles

QUANTISED REC Trigger for keeping triggered REC in time. QUANTISED RESET Trigger for triggering 1-Shots playback in time

New GATED option for 1-Shot playback behaviour, choose NORMAL or GATED in the Set menu

NEW AMP Setting in the FX menu for gaining up quiet tracks

METRONOME settings option for output destination : OFF/ ACTIVE TRACK / ALL TRACKS / OUT1 / OUT2 / OUT3 / OUT4

Loop length adjustments now quantised to avoid loosing sync for Fatboy Slim build moments !

Menu tips available for revealing MOD and SHIFT button behaviours with Jog Wheel ( can be turned on/off in SET menu )

CHAPTERS

0:08 – AUTOSLICE
Using the new Autoslice feature to create transient-based markers in a breakbeat.
Breakbeat slices are quantised and triggered from random voltage on ENVY Machine.
Slice selection is modulated by CV from a Knob recording on ENVY Machine.
Cymbal/perc loop playing from Tracks 3/4.
ALGO bassline recorded onto Track 1 and looped.

1:33 – POLYPHONIC PLAYBACK
Metal bar and rattling keys recorded onto Track 1.
Clock stopped; audio scrubbed to cue the start point using the Jog Wheel.
Loop Mode set to 1-Shot.
Polyphonic MIDI Note selected to trigger the sample and modulate the speed.
Sample played on a MIDI keyboard.
Micro Pitch Shift used to create a chorus effect.

2:38 – QUANTISED TRIGGERS
Track 1 Trigger 1 input set to RECORD with 1/16th note quantisation, conforming REC On/Off signals in time with the clock.
Trigger 1 connected to a random voltage on ENVY Machine.
The ENVY output attenuverter controls the random voltage level, effectively switching it On/Off.
ALGO connected to the Track 1 input and manipulated to create varying timbres, pitches, and textures.
REC triggers record clock-synced patches of sound onto the existing loop, building up a rhythmic tapestry of evolving sounds.
Bass drum loop playing on Track 2.
Hi-hat loop playing on Track 4.

4:01 – LOOP STYLES: BOSS
Track 1 Loop Style set to BOSS, units set to Unquantised.
REC button pressed to start the loop.
VECTOR WAVE patched to Track 1 input, playing sounds via Keystep MIDI.
LOOP button pressed to set the loop end point and begin looping.
Track 1 reversed using SHIFT + MUTE.
Track 3 selected; REC button pressed to start recording a BOSS loop.
LOOP button pressed to set the loop end point and begin looping.

4:57 – LOOP STYLES: RETRO
Track 1 Loop Style set to RETRO, units set to Quantised for beat-synced recording; length set to 4 bars.
REC button pressed to start recording — this does not set the loop start point.
VECTOR WAVE sounds recorded freely; when happy with a section, LOOP button pressed to set the END point.
The loop start point is automatically set 4 bars before the END point.

5:34 – LOOP STYLES: DAW
Track 1 Loop Units set to Quantised for beat-synced recording; length set to 4 bars.
TR-808 loop already loaded onto Track 3.
REC + S/S pressed to initiate DAW recording.
1-bar pre-roll plays with metronome, then recording starts and runs for the full 4-bar loop length.
NYC Atmos loaded onto Track 2.
