Patch 1 - 00:00
--------
In this one, I'm using noise from Noise Plethora to excite Iroi. I'm using a band pass filter on Noise Plethora, sequencing it with the Voltage Block. On Iroi, I'm using the comb filter with internal modulation on the resonance. I'm also using the resonator with modulation on the feedback, and the echo and ambience. The levels of the resonator, echo, and ambience, are sequenced by the Voltage Block. I'm then sending Iroi to the Zagreb filter from Xaoc, using its low pass filter with noise modulation of the spread control. I'm also using the high pass output of Zagreb, sending it through the Guillotine distortion module, and from there, to the EON filter. This is going to 2 delays on Samarkanda, so only when I open the EON filter, the sound goes to the delays, and I play with the delay times.
Patch 2 - 05:03
--------
Here, I have the Oct Tone sequencer set to 7 steps, and I'm using the gate output to ping Iroi. I'm also using this gate sequence to trigger two envelopes. One envelope is controlling the VCA of Iroi, and the other is controlling the filter cutoff of Iroi. The filter is set with high resonance, which gives a kick drum sound to Iroi. This gate sequence is also triggering the randomize function of Iroi, randomizing a few parameters like resonance and feedback of the resonator. I have 2 sequences from the Voltage Block sequencing the levels of the resonator and echo of Iroi. Iroi is then going through Guillotine to the Ikarie filter, with another envelope controlling the cutoff with extra resonance. I'm using the Beyond output of Ikarie, sending it to the Cosmos module for distortion, and from there to the Vorg filter as a high-pass, and the Aradh filter as a low pass.
Patch 3 - 10:39
--------
In this one, I'm using Iroi as a send effect. I recorded a pad onto Morphagene, and I'm using the Make Noise DXG as a stereo mixer with send/return. Iroi is going through the Guillotine distortion module, and to the Zagreb filter with cutoff modulation. On Iroi, I have the levels of the echo and ambience all the way up, and with the filter level, I send the pad into it.
Patch 4 - 16:31
--------
Here, I'm using a sequence from the Voltage Block as the sound source through Iroi. I then send Iroi through the Zagreb filter, splitting the low pass through the Ikarie filter, and processing the band pass output with the Samarkanda delay. I then mix this together with the original sound source (the sequence from Voltage Block), feeding the mix back into Iroi. I'm then sequencing the filter cutoff, and the levels of the Resonator and Echo on Iroi.
Patch 5 - 19:53
--------
Here, I'm using a pulse wave as the sound source. It has pwm and it jumps in octaves. Iroi is then going through the Ikarie filter, and again I'm sequencing the levels of the resonator, echo, and ambience on Iroi. I'm also using a trigger source to trigger the randomness of Iroi, adding rhythmic variation to the sound."
