"What would happen if you connected the MIDI out to the MIDI in of the same synth (a Sonicware Liven, in this case)? Or created a MIDI loop between two synths / Livens? That's what I set out to answer in this video with the Sonicware Liven Ambient Ø and Evoke, and I discovered a whole bunch of tricks and possibilities along the way. Warning: I did experience a couple of freezes while experimenting with this setup. I don't think there's any risk beyond that, but I'm not 1000% sure about that, and a freeze in and of itself can be aggravating if you haven't saved your work, so please bear all that in mind.
