mechanical minimalism: korg's phase8 + spare parts

"Korg phase8 is a minimalist machine: marimba-like tones, polymetric sequencing, looping patterns. Channeling Steve Reich but also John Cage, here’s my prepared-piano take on the phase8, using brass washers and springs. Disting NT’s Kirbinator pushes it into glitchier territory.
