So, this is an old KORG ROMpler from 1991, a cut-down version of the flagship 01R/W. The 03R/W has less sample ROM (5 MB vs. 6 MB on the 01R/W) and lacks the Waveshaping and Emphasis features. Korg named this digital synthesis engine AI2, which stands for Advanced Integrated Synthesis (second generation). The first AI generation was featured in the M1 and T series.

Actually, I planned to sell this 03R/W, but now I'm not so sure. It reminds me of some mystic, dark sounds I created on the T2ex that I sold a decade ago. Now, I have those similar sounds in a compact 1U rack unit.
