Build a two-part MIDI pattern with PolyArp 1.4.0, then play it on a Moog Subsequent 37. Follow the English on-screen explanations from MIDI setup through Repeat Last, custom Draw rhythms and the final performance at 121 BPM.

Setup:
Novation Launchkey Mini MK3 → PolyArp 1.4.0 standalone → Moog Subsequent 37

The Moog is in Duo Mode for two-note paraphonic playing: two pitches share its filter. PolyArp generates MIDI; the Moog provides the sound.

The walkthrough covers Gate, octave range and shift, Direction, fixed velocities, and editing each hand's rhythm. Repeat Last with Count 2 plays the final note of the pattern twice in total. In Draw mode, notes are removed to create space in each part.

"1.4.0 / 19 October 2026

New per-hand Repeat controls: Off, Each, First, Last and Custom, with an editable count from 1 to 16 total plays. Custom uses comma-separated counts such as 2,1,3. Repeats use the normal steps of Rate or Draw.

Repeat mode and count can be controlled with MIDI CC or aftertouch through MIDI Map.

Added Down/up note order, starting from the highest note and turning around without doubling the ends.

Choose an independent MIDI output port and channel for each hand. Default ports follow the main Output; saved port choices return by name.

Draw now supports up to 100 steps of Undo and Redo with Ctrl/Cmd+Z and Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Z. The first drag on a regular-rate note enters Draw and continues the edit.

Hide Settings with the divider chevron to give the rhythm grid, controls and keyboard more space. Bring the panel back with the gear icon.

The upper rhythm lane now belongs to the right hand in lime, and the lower lane to the left hand. Hand colors are consistent across the controls and keyboard.

Clearer draw, move and resize cursors, improved cursor restoration after returning to the macOS window, and more readable gaps between adjacent notes.

Opening Humanize settings highlights the connected performance controls. Successful full-license activation is highlighted in lime, the version is shown in the header, and Diagnostics starts off.

Fixed a held keyboard note blocking the active arpeggio when the other hand is Off and both hands share the same output route. The active hand now keeps playing without Latch."
