"Only three Black Editions exist within the total production run of 102 PPG 1002 synthesizers. An all-black finish, larger control knobs, and refined analog VCOs and LFO bring a distinctive touch to this reissue while preserving its vintage character. www.ppgsynth.com"
"Three instruments worldwide. One of them could be yours.
A SPECIAL PIECE OF PPG
Some instruments are chosen for more than their sound. They embody a history, a distinctive aesthetic, and the joy of having something special in front of you.
The PPG 1002 Black Edition is one such instrument. Limited to just three units worldwide, it combines the distinctive analog PPG sound with a design exclusive to this edition.
Finished entirely in black, with black anodized 3D side panels featuring the PPG logo and larger control knobs, the PPG 1002 reveals a new side of its personality. Clean, striking, and carefully considered down to the last detail.
An instrument to play, explore, and treasure.
Further refinements have been made under the hood: both analog oscillators have been optimized once again to bring out the authentic PPG sonic character."
