"Uncommon bass synth pedals. Modded (by our tech) so you can sweep the filter using the volume pedal (this mod is switchable).

Zoom into the photos for more information about the controls - they are simple and self-explanatory. It needed the mod because, although it sounds pretty good, it was just a bit.. boring. When testing the controls we found that sweeping the filter knob produced some great sounds so we asked our tech to add the mod to allow this to be done using the volume pedal. The mod is activated by a switch.

Excellent cosmetic condition with some scuffs and dings to the face. There is some oxidation to the back of the pedals but otherwise they are are very clean. The end panels are very good with some wear around the edges and corners. See photos for more information on cosmetic condition."

"We'd never seen a set of Hillwood Basky II bass pedals before. Tony was sold on the funky faux-denim finish and groovy coloured knob caps; the bubbling acidic filter when we switched it on was an unexpected sonic delight.

We like the sound it makes, but we don't know much more about this vintage synth at this stage. It's in full working order and the controls are simple and self-explanatory...

The condition is good overall. We've added replacement knobs as some of the originals were missing. There is some very old plastic tape on the tops of all the pedals - this may well be removable but it will be a time-consuming task and does not affect the operation of the instrument."

via the listing: "I took these pedals in for service three years ago. The man took them and then broke his hip and leg. I finally got them back and they were still apart. I gave them to another guy who kept them for over a year. I got most of the work needed done that they required but he didn't reconnect the pedal wires. This set powers up, the lights work, the pedal contacts are good, but I'm not sure how the three pedal wires hook up (they are shown in one of the images, zoomed in on the blue, green, and yellow wires). Have fooled around and gotten some sound, but need someone who knows what they're doing. I think that they are worth putting back together, I ran out of techs to work with here to get them at 100%." So in other words, these pedals are going to work if you or someone you know can figure out how to properly connect the yellow, blue, and green wires. Otherwise they are in amazing shape..."

"For sale is this vintage 1970s Multivox MX-450 Pedal Synthesizer. This particular example, serial number 00476, is in nice all original condition. Though there is slight cosmetic damage on the right side of the particle board panel, this unit works absolutely perfectly and sounds i-n-c-r-e-d-i-b-l-e. Surprisingly versatile, this simple monosytnh produces rich guttural grain and badass bass. Easy to use, and undeniably addictive, this is a must have for any and every modern studio, producing sounds that will find their way onto a plethora of tracks. Of all the cool Multivox keyboards from the '70s, the MX-450 happens to be the favorite, and aside from the obvious Moog Taurus bass pedals, this is the hands down the coolest pedal synth. From the studio of a very famous band to you, don't miss out on this opportunity to buy an MX-450 on eBay with No Reserve and Worldwide shipping, and the highest bidder will win... regardless of price!

This extremely rare monophonic synth features: a VCO section with main and 2nd Octave controls, a VCF section with Frequency and Resonance controls, as well as, an Envelope Generator and VCA..."

Vintage Multivox MX-150 Basky II Bass Synth

via this auction

"The Multivox MX-150 is a true analog bass synth. It has that warm, thick, room shaking bass that analog synths are known for. You can change the octave range and change the amount of sustain to get the exact feel you're going for. One of the most useful modes is to hold notes to lay a sonic foundation and create a mood to build songs around.

Made in: Japan

Serial Number: 155001"
