"rare pedal synth. The Sound City Pedal Bass was also sold by St. Louis Music as the SLM-700. This unit is in fantastic condition and functions 100%. Every knob, button and switch works perfectly. Includes original carrying bag, which is also in great shape. It produces a nice, fat analog synth sound."

See the DMI Sound City label for more.

"This mysterious keybass from the 70s has seen its fair share of use over the years, as six of the keys on it need repairing (highlighted with pink above), however it still delivers a harmonically rich and incredibly deep synth tone that proves the power of analog circuitry. The sliders and other components on this unit work fine. This keybass may be worn in, but it still delivers a ton of character."

"Sound City Key Bass / Analog Organ Bass / Bass Synth / 70s.

Very rare and very cool keyboard bass.

Polyphonic, similar circuit to the combo organs of the 60s and 70s. Sounds very synth-like.

Makes some killer, yet basic, bass sounds.

Very little if any info online about these keyboards."

Indeed. I believe this is the first one posted on the site, and only the third DMI Sound City post.

SOUND CITY JOANNA

Never seen one of these below. It appears to be from the same SoundCity from Italy that manufactured the PedalBass here. That post and this one are the only two SoundCity posts on the site.

"For sale is this vintage Sound City Jo'anna electric piano, serial number: P-0997. Powers on, vibrato sliders don't work. It is being sold in as-is condition. All pictures are of the actual item."
