Stereo Lockhart Wavefolder + drum machine // Heretic Machines aka optotronics

video upload by e j

via Heretic Machines aka optotronics

"This is a stereo wavefolder, 10 hp. It can be quite distorted and brutal !

It's loosely based on nonlinear circuits wf core (Lockhart cells)

This stereo wavefolder allows you to achieve interesting stereo - folding effects even with very basic modulation.

Output 1 is normalised to the input 2- this allows you to use it as a single ten-fold wavefolder!

When channels are used separately the module functions as dual 5-fold wavefolders.
CVs (fold and offset) from the left channel are normalised to the right channel - so you can use single source modulation for both wavefolders.
It can sound quite brutal and distorted-10 folds is not nothing!

Perfect for mad panning, distortion effects and FM madness!

"This is a stereo wavefolder.

- 10 hp

-the CV inputs are normalised from left to right allowing you to obtain complex stereo patches with just few modulation sources

-output 1 normalised to input 2, this allows you to use it as a single ten-fold wavefolder!

DTO stands for incestual, congenital desire between two twins. the seduction of doppelganger's [false] self; the dangers of incenstual love between conjoined twins, their parasitic yet intimate codependent and endlessly loyal existence. always generating feedback, always mirroring, always present. The Other is me, I am the Other.

'So we declare ourselves to be twins,' he agreed. 'Symmetrical creatures of a whim of nature, henceforth we shall be the same age, the same height, with the same hair, walking the highways and byways of the world in identical striped clothes with the same bow tied under our chins. But I warn you that people will turn around and look after us, half touched and half scornful, as always happens when something reminds them of the mysteries of their own beginnings.'
The Man Without Qualities;Robert Musil
