Sbranvlztronics Low Frequency Oscillator Sync Test - Analog LFO with Reset on Breadboard
video upload by Unrelated Activities
"Testing a LFO with a synchronization circuit. The idea is to force the LFO triangle wave output to immediately go to zero volt when receiving a positive gate or trigger at a Sync input. When the gate or trigger at the Sync input returns to zero, the triangle wave output must then always restart with an upward ramp. On this breadboard the reset circuit was implemented with a CMOS analog switch, and the sync control is just a wire to activate it."

Analog Modular Guitar Synthesizer NINE Oscillators Patch
video upload by Unrelated Activities
"An Analog Modular Guitar Synthesizer patch using nine oscillators, integrating the electric guitar into the modular synth world. Four oscillators are in octaves, the five remaining VCO/PCO create a chord running in parallel. If my Arduino Clock Divider and Logic thing still has sufficient memory space available, I will try to implement a harmonizer algorithm to improvise some basic non parallel chord-melody progressions, would be nice... I forgot to hook up two more ADSR/VCA pairs, that's why some note releases are a bit weird."

No audio. Thought this was interesting. When you see your typical oscilloscope video, you get the impression you are looking at a representation of sound. This video, however, gave me the impression of actually looking at sound itself for the first time through a primitive telescope. Kind of like the first time discovering something you've never seen before.

Quadrature Modulator DESTROYS JS Bach
Published on Jul 9, 2019 Sbranvlztronics
"The Quadrature Modulator comprises a Quadrature VCO (Yusynth VCLFO) and a "Dome Filter" (from J. Haible's Frequency Shifter)- see links bellow.
The VCO portion has 3 potentiometers (coarse and fine frequency tuning and modulation CV attenuation), one CV input, 4 outputs and 4 LED indicators.
The dome filter section has one input and two outputs. The outputs are 90º phase shifted from each other. The video shows the waveforms from the VCO and Dome Filter on oscilloscope.
Differences from Yusynth Quadrature VCLFO are the capacitor value (1nF instead of 10nF), and changes in the freq control (fine tuning pot, reduction of the CV input resistor value).
It can operate at audio and sub audio ranges (0.2 to 4000 Hz approximately), but 1V/8ª tracking is only marginal (~2 octaves).
There is no significant differences in the dome filter circuit.
Some examples shown in the video:
Quadrature VCO controlling 4 VCOs, 1V/8ª CV for the Quadrature VCO input coming from the CV Quantizer.*
Frequency Shifter patch using the Quadrature Modulator and two Ring Modulators.*
Adding FM CV to Quatradure VCO (from the Arduino Clock Divider Logic Thing Octal DAC).*"
