XenoSonic DRSSTC Bach Little Fugue Tesla Coil Yamaha Synth

YouTube via eastvoltresearch. I thought I posted this one before, but apparently not. I must have been thinking of this post.
"A quick and dirty demonstration of the XenoSonic Audio Interface. A Yamaha S03 Synthesizer is hooked up directly to the miniBrute DRSSTC via the XenoSonic Audio Interface.

Since the XenoSonic only produces monophonic output, i prerecorded the Bach Fugue in Gminor on my Allen C-6 Classical organ and then simply added various voices using the Yamaha S03 in real time to the Tesla coil. Its quite a bit sloppy, but thats mostly because i didn't really practice how i was going to play individual voices from the piece and i had a hard time hearing the actual prerecorded music, so its a bit out of synch.

Anyways, enjoy. More information and details can be found at http://www.easternvoltageresearch.com."

Xenosonic Audio Modulation DRSSTC Tesla Coil

YouTube via eastvoltresearch
"The Xenosonic Audio modulator interface is featured here on an initial testing run hooked up to an Eastern Voltage Research miniBrute DRSSTC system. Not show, the Xenosonic is connected to a Yamaha S03 Synthesizer.

The Xenosonic is a universal musical interface for DRSSTC, SSTC, and VTTC Tesla coils provided PRF based modulation on monophonic inputs. One can connect a keyboard, guitar, acoustic instruments such as trumpets, saxophones, and even esoteric instruments such as Theremins with the Xenosonic interface.

See complete design details at http://www.easternvoltageresearch.com !!!"

Duckon 2007 Singing Tesla Coil

video upload by kmelwing

"This is a solid-state Tesla coil. The primary runs at its resonant frequency in the 41 KHz range, and is modulated from the control unit in order to generate the tones you hear.

What's not immediately obvious in this video is how loud this is. Many people were covering their ears, dogs were barking. In the sections where the crowd is cheering and the coils is starting and stopping, you can hear the the crowd is drowned out by the coil when it's firing."

via HarriL. And then there was this.

My new modular. It needs green sparks though.

And for those short on time, no it's not actually a synth controlling the giant Tesla Coil, but this is.
