"The PRODYSSEY ASB is a one-to-one DIGITAL reproduction of the ARP Odyssey synthesizer. The ARP Odyssey is a true analog synthesizer from the 1970's and has taken its proper place alongside other classic synths. It can be considered a compact version of the halfmodular ARP 2600, making it ARP's answer to the successful Minimoog. But this synth is much more than that. While it is based on the classic analog synthesizer design - with oscillators, filters, and amplifier - it also offers a number of interesting improvements that make it unique and exciting.

"The Prodyssey is a faithful recreation of the legendary ARP Odyssey but has many extra features not present in the original synth such as MIDI In, Out and Thru and the ability to connect to computer by USB for editing, saving and general tinkering with how things operate. One of the best things about this synth is that as well as having the original ARP filter it also has the option to switch to the MINIMAX filter which is a clone of a Minimoog filter!

It sounds fabulous and was the most expensive of the Creamware range at the time as it is a little bigger than the other units. The look, as you can see is a faithful copy of the original with lovely added wooden end cheeks which can be removed if you wish to rackmount it."

"The is the emulation of the renowned ARP Odyssey done by Creamware (now Sonic Core). This emulation also adds some things to the original ARP design. It has the emulated ARP filter which can be switched to a 24db Moog style ladder filter, for increased programming options! It also has 12 voice polyphony.

As Paul Nagle said
'In recreating patches from actual Odyssey patch sheets, I found myself simply not caring that beneath this synth lay skillful programming rather than analogue circuitry. I found the results close enough — in both feel and sound — to satisfy all but the most picky.'

This includes original manual, original box, and package contents, which includes program/librarian software (on original CD) for windows and Mac.."
